NextTask is designed to minimize the collection of user information. By default, your tasks, schedules, preferences, and other content are stored locally on your device.

If you create a NextTask account and enable account syncing, the information necessary to synchronize your data across your devices is securely stored solely to provide synchronization. We do not access, analyze, or use your information for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

2. How Your Information Is Used

• Displaying and managing your tasks
• Saving your preferences and settings
• Organizing assignments and schedules
• Synchronizing information across your own devices when syncing is enabled

Your information is never sold or used for advertising.

3. Data Storage & Security

Most information is stored locally on your device. If account syncing is enabled, encrypted copies of the information required for synchronization may be securely stored in cloud infrastructure solely to keep your devices up to date.

5. Third-Party Services

NextTask does not use third-party advertising or analytics services. The app may rely on trusted cloud infrastructure solely for optional account synchronization. Connected services like Canvas are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Children's Privacy

NextTask is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Control Over Your Data

• Delete your tasks at any time.
• Disable account syncing whenever you choose.
• Sign out to stop synchronization.
• Removing the app deletes locally stored information from your device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date above.

10. Canvas Integration

If you connect your Canvas account, NextTask may access assignment information to display coursework inside the app.

• Canvas integration is optional.
• We do not store your Canvas username or password.
• Imported assignment information is only used to organize and display coursework.
• We do not sell or share imported Canvas information.

11. Account Syncing

Creating a NextTask account allows synchronization across your devices.

• Syncing is optional.
• Only the information required for synchronization is stored.
• We do not read or analyze your synchronized data.
• We do not sell or share synchronized information.
• You may disable syncing or delete your account at any time.
